Hi Addy!     The good news is yes, there are other preventives that may help with your Migraine frequency. As far as taking a daily preventive while pregnant, that is something you need to speak with your doctor about.     Right now, there are over 100 medications currently being used for Migraine prevention. Some of the medications may be less expensive for you since some come in generic form. See this article: Migraine Preventive Medications: Too Many to Give Up!     You did not mention if you had health insurance or not. If you do not, you may want to check out pparx.org - this site will guide you through some of the prescription assistance plans that you may qualify for.     If you are in need of a doctor to help you with your Migraines, please see our links: Patient Recommended Migraine and Headache Specialists and Migraine and Headache Specialists: What's So Special?     It is very important for us to have a good preventive regimen. Studies are now showing that Migraine can cause brain damage. That is why it is so important for us to not give up. See these articles:   Is Migraine A Progressive Brain Disease?   Yes, Migraines Can Cause Brain Damage     Good Luck! Eileen Gray
