Winter Holiday GuideEnjoying the Holidays Despite Migraines and Headaches --> Info for you...

Can I get relief from my chronic variety of headaches?

Karen G
09/27/08

I have daily annoying headaches.  They will turn into a monster rebound headache if I take three doses in a row of a prescription, or maybe even a migraine for no apparent reason.

I wake up with daily pain and go to bed with daily pain.  I've read as much as I can.  I seem to experience all types except cluster or migraines w/auras.  CAN I DO ANYTHING ABOUT THEM?  My primary PCP has gone through nearly all the various families of drugs, all with adverse side effects.  The worst adverse side effect for me is insomnia, which triggers a monster headache after a day or two of that cycle.  HELP!

I am hoping to get a strong recommendation for a next step or a headache specialist in the Cincinnati Oh area.
