With in the last six months, I started to have seizures with my Migraines. They don't run in the family, the doctors have 'washed their hands' with this, and I can't find any information about them.

Information on this would be greatly appreciated, or even pointing me in the right direction to get the info would be good.

Thank You

Denise

Denise,

This question has been addressed in our Ask the Clinician column. Please read Can a migraine cause a seizure in a person that does not have epilepsy?

Sounds like it's time for a new doctor too, and a Migraine specialist may be the best choice for you. Take a look at the article Migraine and Headache Specialists - What's So Special? If you need help finding a Migraine specialist, check our listing of Patient Recommended Migraine and Headache Specialists.

Good luck,
