Hi pleasehelp!

Botox does help for some Migraineurs. Since it is still considered "experimental", it may not be covered under your insurance, or may need a preauthorization.   Does Botox Really Help Migraine? is a video on Botox treatment. Here is another article on our site as well: Intradermal Botox for Migraine, Headache, and Pain.

We have forum members who have done Botox and/or Nerve Block Injections. If you would like to check out our forum, you can do so by going to the blue "connect" pull down tab at the top of the site, select Migraine Forum - and go on in! Or, you can just click HERE . You do have to create another log in for this side of the site, but feel free to use the same one you are using for the Share Post and Q&A section.

Good Luck!

This animation shows one of the key causes of pain during a migraine--changes to the blood flow within the brain.
