Q: Hi there, I have been trying to find answers from everywhere about what I am experiencing on a daily basis but haven't had any luck so far.

I have a throbbing feeling next to both ears between the temple and the ear... I'm guessing it’s the veins right alongside my ears and it’s on both sides... It feels almost swollen and even when I touch that area its kind of feels like a sore muscle. I can hear and feel my heart beating next to my ear... Sometimes it leads to a headache but mostly it’s uncomfortable. Its starts say near the middle of my ear and goes up until the top. Does anybody know that causes this and or what can I do to make it stop?

Hi bazjanx008,

Your symptoms could be an indication of a number of things, just one of which could be a Migraine. As much as I'd like to answer your question, your doctor is the right person to talk to so he can give you an exam, talk about your symptoms and go over your medical history and your family's medical history as well.  That way, he can give you an accurate diagnosis and explain things to you.

Good luck

Nancy
