My migraines are infrequent but when I do get one, It last 72 hours and 1 treximet only lasts about 6 hours. Help!
I'm taking a beta blocker and it has reduced the number of migraines I get, but when I do get one (which is about once every 60-90 days or so), it is unbearable. With one treximet lasting about 6 hours, I have about 18 hours of unbearable pain to go and only one more treximet dosage to take before the 24 hour time frame is up. This is a 3 day cycle every time. I've tried other meds, like Maxalt, Frova, Axert and Imitrex and none of them have worked any better. Any suggestions?
