Hi, Michell!   I know how you feel. I spent almost 10 years in daily migraine pain. But there is hope. If you're having pain every day, you need to see a migraine/headache specialist. And if you've tried one, try another one. I've been seeing one for a year, and have in that year gone from daily to half that, and from twice monthly trips to the ER to three trips in the whole year!! Before I saw this doc, I saw 8 different neurologists who knew n-o-t-h-i-n-g!   I'm taking a handful to pills every night, though, and have some awful side effects. I have an appointment soon and will be discussing the fact that I'm not happy with the side effects.   I have taken almost every triptan. Each triptan works initially , and then I "get used to it." So Ihave to keep them on a rotating schedule. Ask your doctor to try that.   I hope this helps or at least gives hope! All of my medications are listed on my home page.
