Q: I have FMLA for my migraines, if I use the 480 hours alotted can they just say you can't use FMLA you don't have any more?

Unfortunately, yes. The law provides for a limited amount of unpaid leave. When that's used, that's it for the year.

terri is right... a good migraine doctor can make all the difference. i've been seeing mine for about 6 months now, and he is playing musical meds.
problem is it can take many tries to find the combo that works for you.
good luck, i know i'm slowly getting there.
