I have a history of getting sinus headaches,  but this is different.  The sinus meds do not take it away.  In fact most meds do not take it away at times.  It has been pretty constant for three weeks straight, and at times very intense.  I feel it behind my eyes, in my temples and forehead and in the back of my head behind my ears.  At times I get a sensation of preassure.  I feel nauseas when it is real bad.  I have also expierenced a little blurred vision, and this prickly sensation over different parts of my body.  Almost a burning sensation but not.  I do not know how to explain it.  I was thinking maybe I am getting migraines, but I didn't think they lasted this long.  I do not have insurance and can not afford the doctors visit, so I am trying to figure this out and find some relief.  Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

trescigno,

I know what it's like to not have insurance. Been there; done that' burned the tee shirt. Still, there are times when seeing a doctor is necessary. This is one of those times. The symptoms you describe could be Migraine, but they could also be something else entirely, and it's going to take a doctor to tell you what's going on and what treatment you need.

In more than 90% of cases, what people think are sinus headaches are actually Migraines. For more information on this, please take a look at Sinuses Giving You a Headache? It's Probably a Migraine.

You can read about the possible phases of a Migraine attack and their possible symptoms in Anatomy of a Migraine.

Good luck,

Teri
