Q: what does it mean when half of your face stops working

I can be talking to people and all of a sudden my left side of my face basically gets stuck, or stops working for 30 seconds to a minute, then gradually starts moving again. This is happening more and more lately. What does it mean?

Hi Jacquie,

Does this happen when you have a Migraine attack? Here's the thing - as much as I'd love to be able to answer your question, the only person who can safely do that is a doctor who can review your and your family's medical history, discuss your symptoms with you, and conduct a complete examination. Nobody can diagnose via the Internet.
