Q: Has anyone heard of a group called foreverwell.com. which uses nutritional supplements?

It is based on a book called The Second Brain, or the brain in the gut.  It uses naturapathic supplements to help with migriane.  Since I have had some success with a feverfew, b2, Co Q 10, magnesium, butterbur regime I am curious about this nutritional approach.

Laura,

Yes, I've heard of it, and I've heard of the products. As with others, some people have had success with it, others haven't.

As with any product, I would suggest discussing it with your doctor before trying it.

I am taking Feverfew, mafnesium 400 mg, B2 400mgs, CoQ 10 and Butterbur.  I had success with it for about 6 months .  Then I had hernia surgery on my gut and the migraines came back.  Has anyone had success with this formula?  I know that Imitrex used to work for me for 8 years than stopped working.  Could this be happening with formula.  I have also been on 400-600 mg daily of morphine when I was getting the daily headaches.  I am wondering if that is now part of the problem.  Is it making me more sensitive to pain.  Can it cause rebound headache. It is my opinion that a rebound headache is different than a migraine.  It does not center on the eyeball.  It is usually on the top of my head and I only treat those with ice.  I use ice a lot and wonder if I am damaging my eyes by an excessive use of ice.  The daily migraines came out of the blue when I hit 50.  The year before I had very few headaches and was hardly using any meds at all.  The whammo, I started getting dailly ones and NOTHING worked.  Any clues?
