Hi Yaya!

Butal-apap is generic Fioricet. Taken as your doctor prescibed, it should hopefully relieve your headache.

Fioricet contatains Acetaminophen and Caffeine.

It is butalbital/Acetaminophen/Caffeine. It should read on the bottle 50/325/40. It is use to treat tention headaches. The acetaminophen is to help decrease the pain from the headache. The caffeine helps increase the effects of the acetaminophen. The butalbital is a sedative that helps decrease anxiety and cause sleepiness and relaxation.

I have been on it for years and it helps. But when I get a mygrain it does not help. My is becasue I hold all my tention in my shoulder and it goes to my neck and head. I am also on topamax I just started it again. In about two weeks I will not even need the butal/apap. When I first gotten started on the tomamax i only had three mygrains in three months apoise to every day.
