Debra,   It's possible, but not probable, that the Methadone could be causing medication overuse headache, aka rebound. See Medication Overuse Headache - When the Remedy Backfires for more information on this.   You mentioned other things that are common Migraine triggers. His sleep pattern could well be a Migraine trigger as could crying. Plus, for some, neck problems can trigger Migraines. I'm sure he's already seeing more than one doctor, but if his doctors can't answer the Migraine issue, I suggest he see a Migraine specilist for help.
