Q: Migraine or stroke or TIA

I have suffered from complex migraines or mwa for the past 32 years. How will I know the difference between that & a stroke or TIA?

Ally,

Sometimes, depending on the symptoms, only a doctor can tell the difference. That'a why it's important to contact your doctor when you have symptoms that are different, severe, or frightening.

This is a good question to ask your doctor. He or she can review your usual symptoms with you and tell you what symptoms you could expereince that would be similar to a stroke or TIA and when to get help to check it out.

Good luck,

Teri
