Q: i have a stabbing headache in the left back side of my skull, i can even put my finger on the spot

i have a stabbing headache in the left back side of my skull, i can even put my finger on the spot it has been hurting off and on all day i also feel pressure in my left ear like it needs to pop but wont,  is this still an icepick headache

Nobody can diagnose via the Internet, so even with more information, I couldn't say whether you're having an ice pick headache.

 

Ice pick headaches generally last between five and 30 seconds, but can occur several times in a day. For more information about ice pick headaches, please see Ice Pick Headaches - The Basics.

 

Unexplained head pain should always be investigated. Please see your doctor or go to an urgent care facility or ER.
