Q: i was exposed to head trauma as a youth and now i have headaches along with a stiff neck at the base of my skull ? what might be the problem?

I'm sorry to hear your head and neck are bothering you now, but there is no way for us to diagnose you online. That isn't smart or safe. As much as I'd like to help you with an answer to your question, I can't, because it cannot be adequately answered online. A diagnosis can only be provided by a doctor who can review your medical history, your family's medical history, discuss your symptoms, and conduct a complete exam in person.
I know that isn't what you wanted to hear, but talk to your doctor, he/she will be much better to help you.
