Hi Debbie, We can't really answer this because we are not medical professionals. We can tell you that pizotifen is not a pain reliever but an antihistamine, sometimes used as a Migraine PREVENTIVE for children who suffer from Migraines. It cannot stop or even relieve the pain of a Migraine attack. Your doctor or pharmacist may be able to help you with pain relief suggestions for your daughter. Good luck Nancy
