I can feel the headache but it is not fully present. The random, sharp pain shoots from the top-right side of my head and follows down the side of my face. During the "stabbing" headache, my body reacts as if I was physically hit (my eyes close from the "impact" and sometimes my body "twitches") and my skin on the right side of my face is senstive to the touch. Any one know what this could be?
I am sorry to hear you are in so much pain. Make sure to go to a doctor who can review your medical history, your family's medical history, discuss your symptoms, and conduct a complete exam in person.
For purposes of treatment, learning about your Migraines, being able to get care if you're away from home, etc., you need a full diagnosis of what type of Migraine you have. You can read more about this in The Type of Migraine Does Matter.
