Im a 53 year old who has had migraines for the last 27 years. Even though my migraines have lessened since I've got older I still have them. And my hormonal headaches are horriable now. What are others doing for this? How common am I???

Hormonally triggered Migraines can change a great deal over our lifetime as hormonal fluctuations change. Sometimes they're better as we age, sometimes worse. It's impossible to predict. You can find some information on this in Role of hormones in causing (TRIGGERING) Migraines?.
Your experience is, unfortunately, fairly common. If you're taking any kind of hormone supplements, try having the doctor who treats your Migraines work with the doctor who prescribes your homone supplements.
If your doctor isn't able to help you, it may well be time to consult a Migraine and headache specialist.
