Hi mary, Migraine is a genetic neurologic disease, which means it cannot be made to "go away" as much as we would like it to or as much as we are promised it can be. Migraine disease is a managed with lifestyle changes, trigger identification and manangement, and medication when necessary. Cervical spine issues can trigger a Migraine attack, not cause one. The blocks your pain doctor is talking about will temporarily block the pain, but will not get rid of FHM. As I mentioned in my other answer to you, breaking Status is important. Good luck Nancy
