I am a fun outgoing person who doesn't let her migraines get the best...

10/16/08

After having lived with migraines for over 20 years now I want to know specifically which kind I have.  After reading some information on the site some of the types fit me.  I had been going to a neurologist who never really diagnosed which type of migraine I have.  I'd asked for my medication to be changed because all I wanted was the pain to stop.  He wanted to put me antidepressants, that was not the answer for me.  As a matter of fact they are out of the question!  My problem is not being depressed.  I asked about seeing specialist but he didn't try to help me with that either so I stopped going to him.  One of my other doctors prescribed another medication for me which works at times.  The other times I just have to wait it out.  I just want so EXPERT help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Robin,

Seeing a Migraine specialist is one of the best things you can do for yourself. We have a list of Patient recommended Migraine and headache specialists on our site. There are three listed there from FL and you can find the link HERE.

Good luck

Nancy
