Numbness and tingling can be part of the Migraine's symptoms. We're not sure exactly what it is that causes it, but it's part of the Migraine's process in the brain. You can read more about the potential phases of a Migraine attack and the possible symptoms in Anatomy of a Migraine.
If you haven't discussed this numbness with his doctor, please be sure you do. It probably is part of is Migraine, but only his doctor can tell you with certaintly.
Good luck,
Teri
