As Kat said, the only person who can diagnose and tell you if these are Migraines or headaches is a doctor who can review your and your family's medical history, discuss your symptoms with you, and conduct a complete examination. If you don't know if there's a history of Migraine in your family, ask family members. Since Migraine tends to be hereditary, that can help your doctor in diagnosing you.
Exercise can trigger both Migraines and headaches. Here are a couple of articles that have some basic information for you:
Primary Exertional Headache - The Basics
Whether you're having headaches or Migraines, a doctor can help you find a treatment that can prevent them and allow you to consider an active lifestyle.
If your doctor isn't able to help you, it may well be time to consult a Migraine and headache specialist. It's important to note that neurologists aren't necessarily Migraine and headache specialists. Take a look at the article Migraine and Headache Specialists - What's So Special? If you need help finding a Migraine specialist, check our listing of Patient Recommended Migraine and Headache Specialists.
Welcome again,
