Q: Since change in barometric pressure can trigger migraines, what measure of change is responsible?

I sometimes hear meterologists mention that the pressure is going to change.  I understand about high pressure and low pressure systems affecting our weather.  But how much of a barametric change is responsible for triggering a migraine?

How big a change it takes to trigger a Migraine varies widely from one Migraineur to another. It can also vary from one Migtaine attack to the next. There's no set answer to your question.

For many people, a good preventive regimen can prevent even many of the Migraines triggered by weather changes.

Welcome again,

Teri
