Hi cntrygrl!   We have a list of patient recommended migraine specialists on our site. Check that list out and see if there is someone near you. Also keep in mind, some of us travel quite some distance to seek out good medical care.   So you have tried all seven triptans? None of them seem to work for you? I'm sorry to hear that. There is a new one on the market now, Treximet which is sumitriptan and naproxin.   I know it may feel like you've tried every preventive medication out there, but there are over 100 medications for migraine prevention, so don't give up!   As far as your treatment in ER's - it's just unacceptable. I don't know if you are aware of a new group that formed about 6 months ago, it's called Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy. You may want to check them out as well and get on the mailing list. Groups like this is how we get things like unacceptable ER visits changed. The voice of millions can and will make a difference.   If you have yet to see our forum - please visit it by clicking HERE.   Good luck!
