I hear you! When I needed a Migraine specialist, I drove eight hours each direction. I still drive that distance or fly to Dallas for my specialist check-ups and prescription renewals.   It's not really an issue of the treatment being available as much as an issue of a shortage of Migraine specialsts. Most other doctors simply don't know much about the treatment of Migraine in general, let alone the expertise to do effective nerve blocks for Migraine.   I have no idea where you live or where you have to travel to, but if you'd like to see if you can find a specialist closer to you, you can check our listing of Patient Recommended Migraine and Headache Specialists.   I hope this helps a bit, Teri
