Hello

I started on Topamax 3 nights ago and find I am not sleeping, does anyone else have this problem?

I haven't had any side effects other than the sleeping.

I find that it is already starting to help my headaches that I have had continuously since Christmas.I had tried Verapamil,Pamelor,Elavil and all had horrible side effects.I was put in the hospital and had a few treatments of DHE with no help.Topamax seems to help but I find that around 6 at night I start getting a terrible migraine. Will that stop once I go on 2 a day? Will I experience more side effects? Thank you for any info

I JUST STOPPED TAKING TOPAMAX -THANK GOD. I COULD NOT CONCENTRATE OR REMEMBER ANYTHING WHILE I WAS TAKING THAT MED. I WAS AT A LOSS FOR WORDS AND I COULD NOT READ NUMBERS THAT WERE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. IT WAS EXTREMELY SCAREY.

GOOD LUCK

This animation shows one of the key causes of pain during a migraine--changes to the blood flow within the brain.
