In my experience, NO, it does NOT go away.  When I told my doctor about the burning he insisted I wasn't taking enough.  The stronger the dose, the worse the burning got. I finally weened myself off of it since he wouldn't listen.  Burning is finally pretty much gone, but it took about 6 weeks for it to get to this point and an acupuncture session. That has done me more good than anything and I'm going to continue with it. They believe it will totally get rid of my migraines after some sessions.  Which is better than just treating the pain. I want the root of them taken care of.  Please try to find something else before you end up living with nightly icepacks. Good luck and God bless!
