My doctor did not inform me about any side effects of Topamax besides weight loss. I am getting off of it because of how negative the side effects have been for me, but I think it is different with everyone. I noticed a tingling in my hands and especially my feet. I think it is from the Topamax. It felt like my feet were falling asleep.
I don't know what dosage you are on but just watch for mental changes. I felt like I became a different person on Topamax. It made me extremely anxious and paranoid. Please don't let me scare you, it may be the perfect medication for you.
