having headache since 2008, its dosnt go away . Then sometimes feels like someone hit me in head with rock . The pain was on left side of head ,now it was back of head. when the pain sharpens it causes right side to go paralyzied with drooping right side of mouth(slurred talk) ,right eye shut .These things are like a stroke. always treated as stroke when in hospital. takes weeks to months to get better . Dont ever ge to be 100% better. had cat scans mri eegs no test ever show anythings. Doc. not sure what causes this.

Pretty much same answer for you too that I gave for your cousin. Sounds like it is time to see the experts who treat one disease - ours - Migraines and headache disorders. If your doctor isn't able to help you, it may well be time to consult a Migraine and headache specialist. It's important to note that neurologists aren't necessarily Migraine and headache specialists. Take a look at the article Migraine and Headache Specialists - What's So Special? The thing is that pain and Migraine symptoms should resolve themselves after the attack has ended. If it lasts longer than say, 24-48 hours, it needs to be investigated. I have a similar condition. It is called Hemiplegic Migraines. It is a rare condition and has two different subtypes: Familial and Sporadic. You can google more information and look in Teri Robert's book, "Living Well With Migraine Disease and Headaches What Your Doctor Doesn't Tell You...That You Need To Know."
