hemiplegic migraines for 5 years

Hello I too am suffering at the moment and looking into ways of treating my migraines.  I too have these symptoms and have been told I have hemisensory migraine although in another letter it was written hemiplegic (whats the diffrence?)  Anyway just out of hospital though still suffering.  Will be going to the doctor this week so any help and advice i will pass on to you.

The neurologist is trying me on Nortriptyline as a preventative.  But I agree, I find them very frightening and prayng it will go away for all of us suffering.
