My daughter is 12 and the doctor just prescribed imitrex but starting at the highest dose 100mg. Is this safe since my mother only takes 25mg?

My daughter has already taken zomig and maxalt with no success but now we are trying imitrex. In doing some research it says not recommend for children under 16 years of age. Should I be concerned? Please help I am very concerned with all the medication they keep giving her but want her to feel…
