tests.  Nothing seems to help her seizures or headaches, except said medicine.

My first real experience with chronic head pain...

Hi Cyndia,

It is time to find another doctor so your daughter can start feeling better. Continually going to the ER is not fun for anyone, and can mean it is time to re-evaluate her health care professional. Prevention is what's important here(headaches and seizures).  A Migraine specialist would be a good place to start. We have a list of patient recommend Migraine specialists you can see HERE.

Toradol is a NSAID, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, not narcotic.

Good luck

Cyndia,

As Nancy said, Toradol is an NSAID - non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication. It only treats pain, and can't do anything for seizures.

Have her seizures been diagnosed? Since the headaches occur after seizures, it follows that preventing the seizures would prevent the headaches. Since the neurogurgeon hasn't been helpful, it's time to get a second opinion on her seizures. Neurologists, not neurosurgeons, are usually the doctors to help with seizures.

I'm sorry we can't offer you more help, but getting a diagnosis needs to be a frist step.

Best wishes,

Teri
