Q: Can anyone suggest a good pillow for neck support? I wake up with the worst neck aches and I currently use a contour pillow. It's better when I sleep on my back, but very uncomfortable.

This is a personal comfort choice, one that I struggle with very frequently. I am a side sleeper, so it is important to keep my neck in a tolerable position for a "good" night's sleep. I've tried lots and lots of different ones. The one I am using now is a knock-off memory foam pillow. I have two I really like, both are off-brand memory foam....one is very thick, non-contoured rectangular (good for side sleeping) and the other is contoured and not as thick (high), and I use it when I have a bad migraine and want to lay down with some ice....my mom just found a really nice, fairly thick contoured memory foam pillow at WMart on the cheap....but it really can be difficult to advise on: everybody likes different things in pillows, so sometimes you just have to try several different kinds to get what you like. I recently purchased a wal-pil-o which was recommended to me. While I have only used it a short time, I have definitely noticed an improvement in my sleep and my neck pain upon waking in the morning. I am a side sleeper and it is designed for side or back sleeping. It is a little pricey, so definitely do some research before purchasing.
