Q: is there a difference between the generic version of topamax?

Hello Euni,

 

Like any medication, not everyone will have the same type of reaction with the generic Topiramate medications as they do with the brand Topamax and others may not notice much of a difference.  However, the bigger difference may have to do with the manufacturer of the Topiramate you get from the pharmacy which could vary from prescription to prescription.

 

I actually wrote about this today on my blog about my experiences between the generic and brand medications and the path I may decide to go next.  There is so much that goes into this decision.
