I have been recently diagnosed with hemiplegic migraine disease.  I also have epilepsy so for six years it has gone undiagnosed.  I was diagnosed with TIA's becaue of the stroke similarities.  My new neuro is not putting me on any additional meds since I am already on anticonvulsants for siezures.  I also had a total hysterectomy four years ago and that is when everything went haywire in my brain.  My doctor says that I am going through estrogen withdraw that is contributing to this disease.  I am unable to go on HRT.  Therefore, if you are in your pre or post menapause years, your condition could worsen..  Good luck.
