I have migraines usually 2-3 days a week, but in the summer they are daily why is that?  I've dealt with mirgaines for over 10 years, no one else in my family has migraines, guess I was the lucky one.  I also have temporal lobe epilepsy but have been seizure FREE since the brain surgery in 2002, So there has been something good that has happened in spite of the migraines I still deal with.

  Many Blessings,

  Cindy

Hi Cindy!

You could be getting more migraines in the summer due to the weather. Or if you suffer with allergies, they may trigger you as well.

Let your doctor know that this is your pattern, maybe he/she can help you to minimize attacks during this time by adjusting your current preventive medication.

Good luck!

It may just be the heat. I live in the mountains and am way more used to cold weather. It just hit the 80's and 90's here and I've had terrible migraines everyday.

This animation shows one of the key causes of pain during a migraine--changes to the blood flow within the brain.
