My dr. insists on the standard one with only clear liquids for what is it, like 24 hours? If I don't eat solid food for supper more than 5 hours after I end lunch I get a migraine that will last for days.  We have been at a stand off about this for 3 years.  I see the dr. again tomorrow and I know she will be upset with me for not getting one last year like she ordered for me.  I need help!

Susan,

It's a tough situation. I had the same problem. Talk with your doctor. You don't have to go with absolutely nothing to eat. I was allowed chicken broth, jello, and popsicles. Just had to be sure that the popsicles weren't red or purple.

Good luck,

Teri
