Just the fact that you've asked this question is such a wonderful start. My boyfriend does all of those things (tucking me in, turning the lights off, bringing me ice packs and water) but more importantly he really takes the time to listen to how I feel and be empathetic. It can be really hard to explain the toll migraines take on you to most people, but your significant other is truly the one that experiences it with you all the time. So having someone there to be understanding, comforting, encouraging and supportive is the best thing anyone suffering from migraines could ask for. He's a lucky man.
