There are many different types of triptans that you can try. Maxalt and imitrex are just two of many that are out there, and I would definitely keep trying. If you do a little research in the drug information section of this site, you will find a lot of good information regarding different types of drugs. To name a few you could look into Zomig, Frova, Axert, and Relpax. Remember that each of these medicines works in a similar fashion but binds to different seratonin receptors so you may find that one works well for you while other ones dont, but keep trying different ones until you find one that works right for you. Aside from the triptans I would also suggest from my personal experience trying ergotamine compounds such as cafergot or migranol nasal spray, as these (at least for me) have had less side effects and have worked more effectively.
