hi, I 23 years old and i already asked many doctors what it´s happening to me.

I have migraine since i was 10. It was a without aurea one, commom, hemicraniana, in temporal region, pulsatil, with photophobia and phonophofia, and vomiting. It used to be always moderate to severe and occured 2 times a month. But from 6 months ago to now it changed. Now the headache is retroorbitary bilateral, with nasal congestion and facial rash, in pressure, mild to moderate, 2 or 3 times a week, sometime with falling sensation, still with photophobia but no phonophobia and no vomiting...what should I do? its still my migraine or another kind of headache?

Dear Monique,

Yes, Migraines can change in presentation. Yes, a person can have two types of chronic headache disorder.

The problem with your ending question is that nobody can answer it without reviewing your medical history and symptoms and examining you in person. You need to be examined to make a diagnosis.

Since it sounds as if you've already seen multiple doctors without getting a diagnosis or answers, it's time to see a Migraine and headache specialist. See our article Migraine and Headache Specialists - What's So Special? If you need help finding a specialist, see our listing of Patient Recommended Migraine and Headache Specialists.

Good luck,

Teri
