Hi Kat, We really can't help you with this question because we aren't pharmacists, and each person reacts to medications differently. For example, Cymbalta is "supposed" to be a weight neutral drug. But for me, I gained undesired weight weight while taking it. As far as birth control goes, that is one for you and your doctor and pharmacist. Good luck Nancy
