I live in a small rural area and the only people I've seen for my complicated migraines are my primary care physician (a family doctor) and a neurologist.   My neurologist has prescribed medication after medication and nothing is helping.  It's been over 2 years now and I'm still suffering.  How can I find a migraine specialist?

Hi Julie,

A Migraine specialist is a great idea and can really help with the correct Migraine or headache diagnosis and treatment plan. We have patient recommended list of doctors you can see HERE. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of specialsits around so you may have to travel a bit. Some of our members here fly or even drive over eight hours to do what is necessary to get their life back on track and feel better. Maybe you will find this article interesting too:
