Q: Desperately seeking advise...Does Naturopathic really work for migraines?

I don't have medical insurance and can't afford the medications. And over the counter meds just don't work for me. Someone told me about seeing a Naturopathic. Would that work for someone like me who suffers 3 to 5 migraines a week???

 dear godschild,

I have experienced some help from Naturopaths who prescribe liquid herbs, but not a cure.  I experience daily headache of which 70% are migraines.  you wont be saving any money though I find natural therapy just as expensive and you will still get some migrianes that can only be helped with painkillers/medications.  A natoropath will probably tell you it is your bowl or liver not working to the best of its ability. I recently have been seeing an acupuncturist, the family lived healthy and ate a very strict diet, and his wife suffered migraines!  and boy was she a grumpy lady! personally i dont see the point of living such a strict lifestyle and still suffer!  maybe look into what you could do to help your bowl or liver yourself instead of giving someone else the money.

cheers
