I can't afford my migraine meds-my insurance does not cover. Is there an otc?

I have 'lived' with migraines most of my life and have missed out on many days in pain. I am blessed enough to have insurance for major medical but no prescriptions are covered- I cannot afford $300+ a month for meds- is there any help out there? Are there any over the counter medications that work?
