newly DX'd elevated TSH: history of severe migraines during and (now) 7 yrs post pregnancy.

Just found out that I have an elevated TSH of 5.8 indicative of hypothyroidism. Could this be causing or be associated with my migraines. Might the migraines go away with treatment for hypothyroidism???
