Consequences of migraine brain damage.
I went to my neurologist because I was having a sensation of warm water coming down my right leg. I got an MRI of the spine, which came back normal. Then I started to feel numbness on my right hand, on and off. So the Dr. concluded I have brain damage from the migraines I a year ago my brain MRI revealed TIAs/white spots. He has told me to start taking a daily aspirin and come back in 3 months. Is this normal for migraines? Should I be on the lookout for new symptoms to develop?

So let me see if I understand this correctly. You are just learning about lesions of white matter on your brain, that may or may not be causing these symptoms, from a MRI of your brain a year ago? What is the diagnosis? Is it Migraine or some other vascular condition? I think it may be time to seek another opinion, in my humble opinion.
