Q: I am wondering if my symptoms are that of a migrane, please help!

Two or three times a year I awake with a minor headache, I take a couple of paracetamols. A few minutes later I bring them back up. I then spend the rest of the day and evening vomiting. I cannot even hold down water. This lasts well into the evening and I feel like death.  I have to sleep all day to try to get myself well.I dont believe it is food related and cannot find any patterns to these occurances. I seem the next day to be reasonably recovered, just weak, and can eat light things.

Hi Alison, while I'm not a doctor and can't diagnose you over the internet, it is possible that your symptoms are migraine.

We have a great article about migraine basics, HERE.

Please take a look at this article and see your doctor. Feel free to print out the article and bring it with you to your visit!
