Hi, regarding your question, it's very simple, anything that is stressful to you can bring on the symptoms of OCD, this includes having a migraine, which is very stressful on your body. Take care of yourself...God Bless!

I suffer from OCD and boy do I relate with you! I think the worse part is when I start getting a migraine, my OCD kicks in and I try to do everything instead of taking care of the headache. And it gets bad at times, I will get on my hands and knees to find 'dust bunnies'.

How do you manage yours?

Yes, I have the same issue.  However, the migraine often get's bad enough that I am often re-focused on that, rather than my obsessions.

cause?

i think this hasn't been studied.

from what i can find.

my hypothesis ( guesses):

1.can long term migriane pain conditions create ocd? -maybe in rare cases

2.would ocd cause migriane pain -  no,

3. would ocd or other psyche disorder effect migriane pain -yes. ( may increase the pain from body tension like other anxiety disorders that have been studied do.)

4. another  variable situation. see the person who  doesn't attend to the pain as priority when ocd is present.

anyone find medical studies to support or refute any- please let me know!

This animation shows one of the key causes of pain during a migraine--changes to the blood flow within the brain.
