could topamax cause your eyes to look droopy

i've been on topamax for over a year and i recently left my prescription to be dropped off and when i finally went to get it it cost so much i have to start getting them by mail but my eyes one of them is puffy looking on the eyelid all the time and the other one looks different could it be caused because i've been off the meds for a couple of weeks.

You need to call your doctor. Topamax shouldn't be abruptly discontinued. Doing so can cause problems including seizures. When you get your prescription, you'll probably need to start at a lower dose than you were at and taper up again.

 

I've not heard of Topamax causing what you describe, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be from stopping it. You really do need to see your doctor.

I recently noticed my lids were drooping and saw my doctor, it was today that I visited another site and learned that it is a rare side affect of taking Topamax. It has also affected my peripheral vision as well, I am going to now after 19 months going to discontinue the drug....I am too tired from suffering all of the side affects and afraid.
